the-little-blue-rose & trappedkaya entered the house
Ellen was drinking tea and reading in the wide rose garden. It was inside the house so no natural light came in, but the witch made sure it at least somehow resembled real sun's light. She wasn't feeling too well but didn't want to stay in the bed either so the sick girl had stubbornly forced her body to move. She was able to sit and stay still but getting back to her room would be rather... troublesome.
The demon wasn't present but Ellen was able to hear the flowers whispering from afar and while they were not talking to her, at least it felt like she wasn't all alone. The distant voices and the calming surroundings - without forgetting her aching and weak body - started to make her sleepy. She leaned against the bench she was sitting on and slowly her eyes started to wander away from the book she was reading, getting heavier little by little. It didn't take long when Ellen was already fast asleep.
