mother abandoned me father didnât notice me
 // descends from the depths of Hell ,, he llo,,,
Ahem.
As you can see, I have not been active here for who knows how long. I actually don't even remember what made me stop in June when I said I would make a comeback. It wasn't because of RP-partner or anything, I just honestly can't remember anymore. It wasn't because of the lack of inspiration either. Most likely because I'm lazy and easily stressed.
Anyway, right now I'm not sure of coming back. However, with the novel chapters floating around I have gotten my spark back and there is a POSSIBILITY of me returning. However, that would mean I have to start from blank because goes without saying the novels have ruined most of my headcanons for Ellen already, haha.Â
But I'm not sad or anything, I love Ellen so much I'm just happy I can learn more about her and everything is canon!Â
I don't promise anything though, I'm a very fickle creature and I tend to come and go as I please orzÂ
A cat-like snicker as he bared his teeth in a yawn. âYou know what to do then⊠Ellen.â And with that, he hopped off the bed and exited the room, leaving the two by themselves. He had more important things to attend to, after all; not to mention he hated the kindness that was clearly being shown off by the blonde.
âEllen⊠Thatâs a lovely name.â Her new friend seemed more on the laconic side, so it looked like itâd be her duty to actually start up conversations. Even though she did have many things she could talk about, she hesitated; uncertain which trails she could tread upon without insulting the sick girl.
âAh⊠Well⊠Do you like to draw or anything, Ellen? I have lots of coloring books and stories at home! I could bring them with me next time..?â âŠWell, she tried. Who was to say she would visit again? She only just met this girl and she had managed to mess up⊠Hopefully the other wouldnât mind her mistake too much; it was only an attempt at a nice gesture. âOr⊠Well, how about telling me a bit about yourself? I would say about me but.. Thereâs not much to say other than I live with my father near these woodsâŠâ She was really desperate with words, but then again she hadnât been with another girl her age in a long time; things were bound to work out hopefully!
Ellen would have thought the first question would have been something like "Why are you alone?", "Are you sick?" or some obvious question like that, but no. Viola asked did she like drawing. Our of all things, she decided to ask a question that one could have heard if there was nothing wrong with them. If Ellen would have been healthy, she wouldn't have find this question special at all but in this condition... For a moment, it made her feel like a normal girl, like the ones in her fairy tales. She blinked her eyes a few times out of confusion before answering: "Yes... My hands hurt often so I can't draw all that much, but when I can, I do draw." She smiled, but it was so small it was hard to even detect. "But I do like stories.. I read them a lot.."Â
When Viola told about herself, Ellen was surprised to hear she didn't seem to have mother. "I don't think there is much to tell about me either.." she started hesitantly. "Most of the time I'm alone here, with cat and my books. Sometimes people come to visit though, but usually don't come again." It was the truth, although naturally the witch's didn't tell a reason for why people didn't come again.Â
"Does your father love you?" she then suddenly asked like out of nowhere.Â
im coming tonight pls have the bed ready <3
// Don't worry, everything is ready....Â
nice eyes wanna X
// "And by X I don't mean killing" /winksÂ
âââŠOh?â
The owner seemed to be bedridden, but that was not what surprised her mostâ it was the fact it was a girl around her age that happened to be the only living thing in the house that caught her attention.
A lonely, sick girl⊠Stuck in bed for what seemed a long time now; hair rather messy and eyes weakly glaring down the other⊠A sympathetic frown curled upon her lips as she realized what a poor sight she had been gazing upon. âWell, if you insist,â she murmured softly, pulling up a chair and sitting next to the witchâs side. Gently she extended one hand out towards her and gave her a smile. âIâm Viola. Who might you be?â
She seemed innocent enough, definitely a well-taken girl as per observations; but much too clueless. It was certainly quite a different victim from the norm.
Purrrrr. The cat seemingly laid down in his own comfort and purred happily, all the while he was actually speaking to Ellen; his words unheard by the oblivious blonde. âAinât she nice? Wanders around the forest a lot, I see her all the time. I never caught her âcause I thought sheâd be nice for a different purpose.â
Almost did a smirk appear upon the catâs face as he continued, so nonchalantly speaking his words: âIâve told you about the magic of body-switching, havenât I?â
"I don't need your pity.." Ellen though by herself, although there was something weird in this girl. The witch's couldn't put her mind into it, but there was something really pure about this kid. She didn't seem to say things just for the sake of telling them, but seemed to be actually concerned. Weird.Â
"I'm.. Ellen," she replied, still observing the girl that piqued her interest. She hadn't been interacting with other humans around her age though, so Ellen didn't know how to continue. She expected this other girl, Viola, do the talking instead.Â
Ellen almost froze when she heard the cat talking. So this is why... Yes, perfect. The cat kept his promise after all, although not quite as the witch had originally imagined the promise to be like. "Hmm-m," Ellen then answered to the cat, showing she had listened him. However, she couldn't communicate properly with him right now as she was busy with the blonde girl. "I could use this girl to get out of this house... But first it needs trust," she thought. Ellen wasn't all that sure would it actually happen since she didn't like people like Viola at all. Good kids with loving parents. She didn't even know was that actually true, but she thought so.Â
ââŠIs this the place?â
A duo of a girl and a black cat stood in front of the old tattered house, both staring up at itâs strange presence in the middle of the forest; one calm while the other rather unnerved. Viola knew how dangerous this place could be if you werenât careful- and perhaps following the black cat was something only a fool would do- but yet something about it intrigued her.
Of course, the cat gave no responseâ it was an animal. It only give a short flicker of the tail and a meow, pawing upon the wooden door as if asking her to open it. âMight this be your home?â It was plausible the cat had gotten locked out by accident and sought her help⊠Hopefully the owner wouldnât mind her generosity. ââŠAlright, Iâll let you in. But no further, okay?â Another meow of disappointment, much to her dismay. The black cat wasnât done with itâs games, it seems.
Finally her hands rested upon the door handle, opening up to the house, the cat leading the way in with its tail waving happily. Nervously her own shoes stepped inside, a strange, empty entrance that caused the noise to echo instantlyâ almost as if the place were abandoned. Still with her doubts, she followed after the cat, through different rooms- a few in particular catching her eye- before a long hallway finally slowed down to their destination.
âIn here,â the cat almost seemed to say, with itâs beady eyes looking up upon the girl. With a quick gulp of uncertainty, she finally opened up the door to Ellenâs room, the cat quickly running towards the witchâs side and hopping next to her on her bed, looking over at Viola once again
âAh⊠Iâm sorry, I didnât mean to intrude.â A sincere apology towards the catâs owner, and without hesitation she turned once again. âYour cat was lost, so I brought him back, I will let you on your own now⊠Iâm sorry again, Miss.â
Ellen had been bedridden the whole day - as usual. However, the demon had promised her some sort of surprise and she was eager to see what it would be. Probably another victim to the house though, that's all what that damned cat actually thought of. Ellen was sure it never did things to her but for himself instead.Â
The house's door opened and while Ellen naturally couldn't see a thing, she was able to sense both the cat and a human entering the house. It was just as she had predicted - another victim. This one, however, was lead to Ellen's room by the black cat instead of getting caught by some mean traps on their way. Maybe the cat was trying to give her a chance to have fun, too.Â
The cat jumped on her bed but Ellen didn't pay much attention to him: the girl who had just entered in her room was much more interesting. She seemed to be around the same age as Ellen herself. She also seemed to be from rather good home, her golden hair well-maintained and her white dress was clean. Ellen bet she had nice parents who actually cared about her. Kids like those made her angry. She didn't understand it herself, but she was actually jealous of them.Â
"Who are you?" Ellen asked with laconic voice with only slight curiosity to be available to spot in it. "Now that you're here already, why don't you stay for a bit longer. It's lonely here.."Â
