After making the prints, we scanned them into photoshop and inverted them into a positive image. @sbianchiphoto

Our pinhole camera finally worked! We found a medium exposure time of 7 seconds, which worked really well. Our photo is of a tree on Menlo campus. On the left is our negative image after we scanned it, and on the right is the positive image we got after inverting the colors and changing the brightness on Photoshop. Unfortunately, there are some marks on the bottom right from tongs and mixing chemicals.

Today the pinhole camera officially worked. I started with some tester strips, and although they were blurry, by the second one I figured out the right exposure time. This was about 7 seconds. My first two larger photos were blurry as well. The first one was from myself and the second because someone walked through the photo. My third one came out really clear. Its featured on the left. I took the photo of Brooke, and although her face doesn't have all the detail, you can see the lettering of "menlo creative arts" in the background. I thinks it's really fascinating how precise these can be. In order to take these photos, we used the camera obscura method. The light is let in through the small lense and then refracts to form one on the paper. Overall, today had very successful trials.
