This PR tour sucked. He hadn’t wanted to do it in the first place. His manager had demanded it however. ‘Just a few signings and a party or two and thats all!’ She’d promised. Yet here he was, already two towns in and beyond overwhelmed. He’d misplaced his manager at some VIP get together, after she’d dragged him around the room. He’d never been big on socializing, large crowds made him nervous and nerves brought out his stutter. After a few hours of being introduced to half a dozen people who were only mildly interested in him- he called it quits. Bailing out of the party as fast as he could. He should have taken a cab- but he’d thought maybe the walk would do him some good. Unfortunately it’d started raining about 2 blocks into his walk. Plus it seemed he hadn’t learned much since childhood. Wondering around in clothes ill suited for the weather, with no plan. While the rain had stopped a while ago, it was windy and the sun was quickly setting. That on top of his soaking clothes, had left him walking the streets shivering. He’d left his car and his phone back at his hotel across town. Bill sighed, pushing his dripping hair out of his face. This absolutely sucked. When he makes it back to hotel he’s gonna take a shower and try to book a flight home.
