“Well it seems that some of us have changed.. I wonder how much of us is still.. us.” She walked forward to stand next to him, waiting for a moment, before opening it and stepping inside. “I’m ready for this to happen, I just hope they see the change in me…”

Bill watched her curiously, following behind. “You’ve all-always been g-great Bev. Anything you have changed- I’m sure only made you greater.” He smiles a little, touching her shoulder before searching the room.

Richie sat down next to his friend and patted his back, giving a shrug, wrapping his own arms around his knees in a similar manner. Then he thought better of it and put an arm around Bill’s narrow shoulders.

“What? Like I have somewhere else better to be, Big Bill? Nah. I’m okay.”

Bill wasn't expecting the arm around his shoulder, but welcomed it none the less. He sighed softly, hugging his legs a little tighter.

He took the blanket, wrapping it around himself. Awkwardly he pulled his knees to his chest, and sighed.

She turned to look at the building behind them. “It’s quite possible that they are.” She dropped her hand and held his. “Are you ready to face them?” She nodded her head towards the restaurant.

“Damn. Seems like we all kind of got into shitty marriages. Well, minus Stan.” As far as he knew, Patty was the definition of a perfect wife. She shared the same interests with Stan. Was beautiful. Was incredibly loving. It wasn’t like Audra, who seemed kind enough, but just didn’t blend well with Bill. It wasn’t like Myra, who was basically his mother, and emotionally controlled Eddie enough to push him towards a pill addiction. And it definitely wasn’t like Tom, who was just flat out an abusive prick.

“I’m sorry it didn’t work out. You both seemed happy. Not that I really knew her.” It made sense now, that Bill didn’t really bring up his marriage while he had been in Derry. Eddie hadn’t either, other than him mentioning that he was married and Richie declaring to like, a woman? In fact, Eddie hadn’t worn his wedding ring the entire time he had been with the other Losers. As the other turned towards him to grab his hands, Eddie blinked, shaking his head.

“Bill, it’s no big deal. I mean, there was a lot going on.” Eddie had been in a coma for most of it, after all. How would he have known his best friend had gotten divorced when he was literally crawling from death, and then getting his own divorce? “I don’t blame you for not telling me.” He wanted to make sure Bill knew this fact, before he blinked, staring at the other like he had grown a second head. “Wait. Wait a second. Are you….implying you want it to mean more?”

" That's because Stan was always smarter then the rest of us." Bill shifted slightly in his seat smiling softly.

"It's fine. It's f-for the best w-we weren't ever really a good match-I don't think that we really loved each other ya'know? I just feel bad that it took so long to realize that." He took a moment to rub at the now naked skin where his ring once was, frowning slightly. "We're all better off now-which is good."

He laughed slightly, giving Eddie's hands a squeeze. "That's an understatement. It honestly just seemed so low on the list of things I just forgot I hadn't like...told you." The comment had him flushing. Now that was the question wasn't it? Did he want it to mean something more. It just felt natural to do--He'd never really been the type to think before he acted. "....I honestly have no idea." Bill said a bit sheepishly.
