I’m wondering what that quote you reblogged about heaven means to you. I think it’s a good quote, but I’m also not sure what to make of it. Of course there are things we could never love. There are so many terrible things that will always be terrible no matter what angle you look at them. So does that mean heaven must exist? Or that we should deny heaven? Just wondering your thoughts.

first of all THANK YOU FOR ASKING ME THIS OMG???? wow. okay. im gonna give it a shot.

first of all, i think it depends on your definition of heaven. i for one dont believe in a religious concept of heaven... so already my interpretation from the get go is divorced from the concept of another life literally.... i’d have to say that this heaven we’re imagining must be some other set of conditions or circumstances, another different environment in which you can either (a) be without these terrible things that u cant bring yourself or love or (b) learn to be at peace and coexist with them.

i dont think i could be alive right now if i, because of the terrible things that exist no matter what angle they’re looked at, denied the idea of a heaven or a better world or a better set of circumstances. thats just not something i can bring myself to do. no matter how terrible... no matter. i have to believe there’s gotta be another way in another place, maybe it’s just really far. or maybe we’re not creative enough yet. it’s not a bad thing to wish for a better place, in the face of things we won’t be able to love. it’s hopeful. what matters is we work to either bring that heaven to us or go it.

Hey there! In this post, I’ll be answering a few questions about me that @trashfirepoet asked all the members of the group ‘Community of Poetry’ to answer, on their wish, of course. So,

1. When and why did you start writing?

Ans) I started writing when I was 12 because I read a poem named ‘The Brook’ (written by Alfred, Lord Tennyson). I loved that poem so much, that I decided to write my own poem. It was in grade 7 syllabus at that time and I loved it...

2. What do you basically write about?

Ans) I basically write about the ways how nature inspires us as well as my personal beliefs. For example- Karma Comes Back.

3. Who are some of your favourite poets to read?

Ans) Tanisha Tomar and Trashfirepoet write awesome.

4. What types of poems do you write?

Ans) I write free verse poems. Rhyming words aren’t my thing. So, I just use a little bit of rhyme in my poems so that they don’t get boring...

5. If you were a chair, what type of chair would you be?

Ans) I think I’d be an armchair. No specific reason for that. XD

6. How old are you?

Ans) I’m 14.

7. Coffee, tea or energy drinks?

Ans) None, actually.
