For the DnD questions: 1-5
I'm gonna answer for both my current characters, Sophie Sanscullottes and the Lord Mayor August Bane since Sophie is new and doesn't have a party, and the Lord Mayor does! (Thank you for the ask btw! :D)
1. If your character wasn’t an adventurer, what livelihood would they lead?
Sophie's other job that she does currently is inventor and all-around repair gal. She builds and improves on weapons and household items, but also will repair anything brought her way. If she doesn’t know how, she’ll learn, as she usually doesn’t like to refuse work. So she’d probably focus fully on that.
2. Who in the party would your character trust the most with their life?
The Lord Mayor August Bane would trust his dear friend Chuparosa with his life, and has, time and time again. He also trusts a certain follower of Ioun with his life, but he might not be quite there yet in admitting those feelings.
3. What are your character’s core moral beliefs?
The Lord Mayor believes equality and liberty and democracy first and foremost. No one is more important than the other.
Sophie’s core beliefs are similar, but less lofty. She believes no one is more important than the other, and that everyone should be free to live their life as they want, and communities should look out for one another. But more than anything she believes in her family, protecting them, and pursuing knowledge.
4. What relationship does your character have with their parents and siblings?
The Lord Mayor has one brother that he loved, and then he and that brother led a revolt against the rest of their family to free the people of Death’s End, so not great.
Sophie loves her mother, father, and sister, but has not seen them in about 10 years, since being banished from the Triton kingdom under the ocean.
5. Does your character have any biases for or against certain races?
The Lord Mayor does not, he just doesn’t like adventurers.
Sophie thinks oddly enough that Dragonborn are pretty sexy, and that’s about her only bias.
