(screenie is a little blurry, if need to be, you can zoom in)
a screenshot from one of the rules they started enforcing on trad feralfront. you may think staff reserve the right to make any rule they’d like, no matter how spontaneous, but that’s not the issue here. the issue is that:
- said rules have been in trad for well over a year, and staff is only just now enforcing these rules. for some shitty reason???
- said rules have a shit ton of flaws in them. the law of “wasn’t in the books, can’t be in roleplay” is only an excuse to limit creativity on the site? apparently cats aren’t capable of creating original ranks for themselves because,,, NOT CANON!
- the excuse of it not being in the books is not a genuine reason to prohibit something so harmless. even said rule itself is filled with flaws. darkclan wasn’t an actual clan in the books; i guess they shouldn’t exist in trad either. technically bloodclan shouldn’t be as well. they were long gone around the time the second series came out. there was no reason for them to regroup.
- despite the fact the main majority of trad seemed upset with these decisions, staff refused to listen? said rules weren’t up for debate? such a rule in of itself is unreasonable, especially given that dynamo wants feralfront to be a “fun!!111!” place. no place is fun if the staff doesn’t give any shits about the memberbase has to say, and dismisses their genuine concerns.
