its been a while, so hello fellow asthetic seeking freaks. i feel obligated to mention the song playing in the background so im going to, brand new key by melanie. people dont usually humour my taste in music, in fact the people i call my friends all hate the music i love.
this reminds me last weekend, on saturday we were coming back from class and my phone was connected to the bluetooth, im playing my very pleasing music, so the song top of the world by the carpenters plays and i start singing along, with much criticism i change and play here comes your man by pixies to which this kid who i dont know and like particularly turns to me and says “bro ur taste in music is girly, no offence”. i kept quiet because there was already 1 idiot in the car who needed two lol.
anyway my point is kids these days are so easily amused by anything everyone else is doing. this new song closer by the chainsmokers which i absolutely cannot tolerate, is currently a number 1 chart topping song. pointless lyrics and the same old same old cursed beat break which doesn’t seem to get old. let me tell you as a tumblr person you will never find the music you’re looking for in the TOP 50 list believe me.
