SungJin had been following TaeWon for years, had been getting rid of those bosses that had threatened to hurt TaeWon after he had left. There was one boss that he hadn’t known about, though. One boss that had been pretty dangerous and had found TaeWon in one of his rare moments alone. It wasn’t often he wasn’t with at least one of the brothers because of his separation anxiety, but he’d had to today. 

All he could think while each blow hit him was how he was late getting home. He was supposed to help Hansol with dinner, but he wasn’t there. He’d gone out to get some ingredients from the store, and what was supposed to take only about five to ten minutes had turned into an hour. An hour of beating and torture. It was normal for TaeWon, resorting back to his old ways as he got down on his knees and gave in to them easily until he was left unconscious on the ground. 

“That’ll teach him for leaving us. Grab him, he’s coming back with us. I’m not losing him again. He’s got more work to do.” He told his men.

Their last shopping trip had resulted in the outfit Jihu was wearing in that very moment. A white t-shirt, a light blue pair of dungarees paired with tights and black shoes. Both the shoes and his tights had cat faces on them, and frankly, he was in love with the outfit. He’d gotten a few weird looks, but true to Jihu’s nature he barely noticed them as he pulled Rider around the shops this time around. He was pulling him down an aisle in search of some kind of mug that he wanted to get for Min when they passed a row of Pacifiers. He stopped suddenly when he saw a pair with the cutest elephants on them and giggled, reaching for them, practically shoving them in Rider’s face. “Look! How cute~”

By some miracle, Yoongi had managed to escape the hotel without anyone following him. He’d paid off the one security guard that had spotted him trying to sneak out the back, and after he’d turned and walked the other way, the idol had made a run for it. Which led him to his current position, lost in the streets of an unfamiliar town with the bright moonlight and artificial glow of intermittent street lamps lighting his way. He knew they’d be looking for him right now, probably moments away from calling the police or sending out an armed-guard search party to ‘rescue’ him, but he couldn’t bring himself to care.

The street was dead of life, only the occasional person passing by but as he came towards a building, he noticed the light on, and his curiosity got the better of him, his feet taking him into the open building. Hands nestled in his pockets, eyes scanning the unfamiliar surroundings, he called out a quick “Hello?”

[슈가] Yoongi instantly was on guard when the other asked if he was jealous, moving to look anywhere but at Brax as he grumbled out a response. “No, what makes you think that?” He looked down at the ground suddenly, not wanting the other to see his face. “You just admitted he was handsome! That’s not something you should just admit to your boyfriend!” He sighed, frustrated by the situation. “He’s my friend, he should know better than to do this to me. I don’t understand why he’s doing this.”

"You've got a new mission, Kite." Eagle's voice, strong as ever, sounds over the phone. Jungkook's eyes narrow, staring at the clock, blinking slowly as his vision clears and he tries not to yawn.

4 : 5 2 A. M.

"Now, sir?" He tries to keep the sleep from his voice, but it's undeniable, and he can swear he hears a laugh from his boss on the other side of the phone.

"Yes, now." A small sigh and Jungkook is pulling himself from bed, dressing himself and preparing to go to the compound to receive his mission. It's been a few weeks since he's had a mission but he's always prepared, holsters sitting next to the bed and jackets lining hooks next to his front door. Boots on, beanie on, out the front door. He's at the compound in less than half an hour, knelt on the mat on the floor in front of Eagle's chair. Almost immobile except for the yawn that wracks his body as he tries to keep it silent.

"I'm here, sir. What's the mission?" He looks up, meets Eagle's eyes, and all the other male does is nod, motioning for him to rise.

"Work with the Cyphers--", an eye roll from Vulture in the corner, a reciprocated questioning glance from Jungkook, "protecting one of their members at her fight this evening." Eagle's eyes meet Vulture's, and Vulture exits out the back door. "You'll receive more details whenever you arrive from their leader, I assume. She's a possible target from their rival gang, from what I understand." Jungkook's eyes are still questioning, but he can't help the tone in his voice.

"I'm a bodyguard, sir?" The tone is almost condescending. Eagle just nods. "Now be on your way. Here's the address." A slip of paper enters Jungkook's hands, and off he goes. Never questioning, only accepting. He doesn't know half of what he's getting himself into.

Minhyuk blinked at the person in front of him before he wiped the blood from his cheek, leaving a smear. “Don’t worry, it’s not mine.” He chuckled, giving a small smile before looking at his hand and wiped the blood on his pants. “Did you need to talk to me about something?”
