“Oh you’d succeed, would you?” Mhairi snorted, “Really? Are you sure about that? Even you can’t be stupid enough not to realise what your precious Chantry would say if I were to attack that idiot Chancellor,”
“And yet here we are, discussing it as if you’d actually encourage me to see how far I could send him flying and as if you could actually stop me if I decided to try it - the younger Templars, possibly, they’re all still a little naive, but don’t you think you’re a little old for that kind of speculation?”
The commander pinched the bridge of his nose as he scoffed.
"The Chantry..." a faint chuckle came out of his mouth thinking of the members of the council yelling at each other as they tried to put forward their candidates for the title of next Divine.
"I guess the Chantry would hardly care, given the current state of things"
He stared at the woman raising his eyebrows in a sort of haughty stoicism.
"Besides, speaking of speculations, you just failed to notice two details: first, I was a Templar but I am not as fond of Roderick as you tend to believe. This leads us straight to the second point: who’d be the stupid if you were to attack the Chancellor? Look around you. These men and women would immediately stop you, I'd simply have to sit and watch as you are brought away and locked up. Honestly? Do it. You'll only unburden me of two irritating bothers all at once."
