Save the Wedding (2021)
Premiering Friday, June 11, 9pm/8c on Hallmark Drama.

Here’s the Hallmark poster for Save the Wedding which can currently be seen on Hallmark Movies Now. It might leave the service on the 10th, but I’m not sure. Sometimes when movies premiere on HMN and then premiere on a Hallmark channel they despair from the streaming service like Valentine’s Again (Once Upon a Winter’s Date) or In the Key of Love.
On another note, per the poster Hallmark is advertising this acquisition as a new original Hallmark Drama movie which would make it the first original movie that channel has premiered. The only other original programing the channel has aired was the reality baking competition show Christmas Cookie Matchup, and special Project Christmas Joy both in 2019. The 28th Annual Movieguide Awards also aired on the channel in 2020. JL Family Ranch: The Wedding was supposed to air on the channel, but instead aired on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Also the potential new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies were to go to Hallmark Drama but that’s still up in the air. I’m wondering if this will be a new trend for Hallmark. Certain movies that might be slightly off brand, or not fit into certain programming blocks, premiering on HMN exclusively eventually ending up premiering on Hallmark Drama for their television debut. Might be something to watch out for.
