I actually commend Luke Bracey for coming on as a new actor in season 2 as Inspector Boxer and making me like the character enough that I admired him, despite being an antagonist to Jack and Belle in some ways. His portrayal of Boxer’s forthright nature and commitment to being an honorable enforcer of true law and justice was excellent. I mean…that handshake moment with Jack when he had to admit he was wrong and be the gentleman he claimed, pure class. I actually believed that his character would’ve been a good match for Belle had they met without Jack in the picture. It’s only a shame there’s no one else in the cast currently I can imagine him with. I’m actually hoping he stays on if there’s a 3rd season and maybe there can be a separate love interest introduced for him. Or, alternative, could he adopt that sweet little girl from the Lbo and she becomes like the adoptee of the whole gang while he solves saves. How adorable would that be? It’s just nice to have a show with so many great actors in it.
