I just realized that Travison is just an older version of Richonne. Travis is divorced and Rick’s marriage was on the outs before he got shot in the line of duty. Madison is a single mom. Michonne in both the comics and on TV was a single mom. Travis and Rick have adolescent boys who sometimes are at odds with their leadership. Travis and Madison found each other. Rick and Michonne found each other but aren’t ready to be together. They are totally made for each other. Plus, Madison killed her friend with a fire extinguisher.
