“Did you need something, Lilah?” Everyone else had filed out of the room by now, and Stevie hadn’t even noticed the girl was still there until she had looked up from her laptop. She had almost jumped, but managed to keep her composure, just barely. She was tired, but she never sent a student away. Besides, this girl was likely one of her favourites, although she tried to keep that kind of stuff under wraps. She was pretty, and Stevie knew she stared far too much at her during her long-winded explanations, getting distracted. She never asked if the girl noticed, it didn’t matter. She could always play it off as coincidental, she supposed. They’d spoken after class often enough for her to feel comfort in the fact that she wasn’t going to get called out for her inappropriate crush. “Did you find everything easy to understand today?” She figured she’d ask, just in case.
