I'm rofl right now because of your comment. It's true tho'. Who would have thought a young musician from this decade released a music video that has lower quality than original music video from 70's. I just can't lol. Bruno made me appreciate more 70's videos with their low quality video and grainy color.
I don’t mind at all that he’s gone retro (I think it’s very interesting to have in a world of perfect HD) but they might have overdone it just a little with the filters ;) They could have afforded to not put so much grain in. Music videos from the 70s/80s that have not been retouched up have less pixellated faces haha
The moment when 1978's Blame It On The Boogie music video (in any copy) is in much better quality than the original upload of 2013's Treasure.

The girl in the video is Taja Riley (who also announced that she was working on the video). I don’t know what happened to Trisha from Platinum. The casting call wanted 2 girls but it looks like they decided to have only 1 for the final product…Unless my eyes are being decieved by the bluriness and there are actually 2 girls there haha :P

Watching the offial UK top 40 and it gets to Bruno (who's 15 eeeek!) and said the video isn't ready.. Um yeah it is I saw it hahaha, can't wait till it's on my tv! I do wonder if the quality was altered when put on YouTube though..

Love the video. I've prepared myself with a real duplicate of 70's music video, a real disco era. And of course Bruno didn't disappoint me. Everything from the set, colour, even the quality look exactly like 70's video. I also love that The Hooligans appeared in the video. I can imagine senior people mistaken the video as a real old video from 70's when they watch it and they think Bruno Mars is a band, not a solo artist lol.
