I consider all things a phase - especially in my own life - I had a psychiatrist describe my depression once as “waxing and waning” - that I could never get rid of it entirely - very life affirming I’d say - so if a dog has a negative thing going on I try to not freak out too bad because it’s probably going to change over time - either get better, get worse, disappear - or stay the same - like I tend to become obsessed with something - that’s all I’m interested in - especially with food - I can’t imagine not living that thing in a major way - and then one day I wake up and it actually makes me nauseous- I can’t imagine ever eating that food - but the.
