I've always dreamed that he would find Sam in Oldtown. Randyll would call upon his paternal authority and demand his son return the Wall and cease his maester training. Sam would answer, "I have no father. Only brothers."

IDK if it will happen in Oldtown, since I'd actually be very surprised if Sam stays there for a long period of time, but yes.  Do want.

The gifset with the little boy is from Criminal Minds! There are currently 10 seasons and this is fairly late on but it's a really A+ show and all the men are hideously great with kids and all the ladies are kick-ass I highly recommend it.
