hi there! i'm new to your blog but i'm loving it so far and you just seemed like a reliable source for this kind of thing. i was in the scottish highlands recently and happened upon a ring of trees in a perfect circle with one tree smack in the middle like a target. any idea what it might be/if it's at all fae related? i haven't been able to stop thinking of it since... 🖤💫
Hello my dear! Welcome! I appreciate your kindness very much.
As for your question,
Well, it certainly could have to do with the fae. Or, it could simply be a coincidence. Though, that one, is not as fun, and two, unlikely. It could have also been planted like that by a human, or,
It could have been planted by one of the fae. For reasons I would not know.
But, let’s dig a little deeper.
Let’s say this was indeed a cause of a fae. Let’s say that they were not planted at all, and instead were a result of something. A fairy circle (faerie circle, fae ring, etc) doesn’t always have to be made up by mushrooms. It could be that it was a fairy circle that you stumbled across. Though, what would a tree be doing in the middle of that ring?
Perhaps that single tree had a deeper meaning. Maybe it was the home of a pixie, or an elf, or maybe even a dryad? Or perhaps something completely different. Anyway, my point is maybe it belonged to someone or something, and perhaps the ring around it was protection. If anyone entered, they could be tresspassing. And thus guilty.
I certainly hope you did not enter, but if you did, and you’re still here, maybe it was nothing at all- or the fae did not mind. Maybe you were invited in, and that is why you were shown the trees in the first place. Maybe you went inside and do not remember it, and that is why your brain is trying to continuously think about it? Tell me my dear, are your memories completely crystal clear from that day? Or do you feel as though you are missing something?
