ok like maybe this is crazy, but what if dyson was actually a victim of the repurposing process? cause that’s how clu had to fix his eye injury right? and the dyson we see in the flashbacks before his injury in scars wouldn’t betray tron, or at least wouldn’t seemingly betray tron. so what if dyson was actually repurposed. because we know that clu lied about how advanced repurposing was and how it “leaves little of the original program in tact” because of cutler being able to act as cutler would before HIS repurposing. maybe clu whittled down dyson bit by bit in the repurposing process to get him to betray tron

#to be clear though I do think dyson’s shitty beliefs about ISOs was homegrown #I just don’t know if that would’ve been enough to fully get dyson to betray tron #especially with all the torture #but yeah idk this is probably begging for a fic expanding on this to fully flesh out my thoughts #tron uprising #tree.txt

also I might’ve said this before but I love how these movies never call the outside world/User world the real world. because the Grid is just as real as the User world. it might be in a computer but it doesn’t make it any less real
