I looked up the question I had about Tron Aries, "Why doesn't Aries resemble his user?"
The answer:
In the Tron franchise, programs do not always mirror their creators. While early systems featured programs modeled after users, modern autonomous AI, advanced automation, and proprietary military or corporate designs mean a program like Ares is built for specific utility rather than personal resemblance.
I kind of don't buy the last bit though because most people including Flynn didn't even know their programs were people at all much less people resembling them much less purposely designed after themselves.
Flynn didn't know it until he met Tron and Yori the first time he visited The Grid... hence him calling Tron "Allen" in astonishment when he first met him.. Same thing with Yori.. (Lora)..
(I can imagine the mundane real life reason for it but I'm talking purely in universe/lore stuff here)
