First of the year...

First tree on the street removed today for this year.  Last year the tally was 13.

  Such heartbreak seeing these community assets removed for such banal thinking.  Awful too that there are people out there calling themselves arborists who are willing to break the law for a few bucks.

I wish Toronto Urban Forestry and Tree Protection actually tried to protect these assets for the future.
