Rama Lake

Rama is the thick Valley with immense pine, cedar, fir and juniper trees. The Rama lake is quiet and wonderful lake lies close to Rama town. The lake is a standout amongst the most lovely vacation spots in Gilgit Baltistan.

The valley is around 3300 meters (10800 feet) above ocean level and consequently is now secured for 7–8 months of the year. In summer, it ends up plainly lavish green; conditions supported by nearby shepherds.

From here one can trek to the east side of the Nanga Parbat (otherwise called the Killer Mountain), the world’s eighth most elevated mountain.

How to go to Lake Rama?

Lake Rama is close Astore town. On KKH in the wake of passing the exit for Fairy Meadows continue driving for about an additional 20 minutes. When you run over the sign for Astore turn in that spot, continue going for another 2-3 hours. You will touch base at the town of Astoria. Ask local people for headings to the Rama Lake.
