can we p;lease talk about Trendermac, please, just think about it

like let it be known I normally don't ship Mac with. anyone. no disrespect but he's just not my Type or a character I'm super into? Like he's cute enough but not a character I think about a lot, but I LOVE TRENDERHOOF, he is my garbage angel idiot fucker and I love him But please think about Trendermac

Trenderhoof's whole thing was being enraptured with Earth Ponies -- well -- earthiness and salt of the earth lifestyle and work ethic, and if AJ has is, Mac has it TIMES TEN

Like imagine Mac pulling Trender to the side for some real talk and just bein' like, "city slicker. Mah sis ain't interested. Nope."

and hearing it so plainly and sharply makes it actually sink in to Trender that he's being a dick (also: Mac big, strong, burly, he does NOT want to upset him) and he gets immediately yielding and apologetic

"Big Mac I'm sorry, I'msorrysorrysorry just!! Let me make it up to you!! Lemme help you out, I gotta make this even I was a jerk!!"

but Trender is as persistent as a mosquito and just SHOWS UP at Sweet Apple Acres the next day, wearing some bullshit Farm Chic outfit with designer boots and fashionable overalls

and Mac tries to send him home but he just will. not. go. so with reluctance and a sigh he sets him to little tasks, JUST TO GET HIM OUT OFTHE WAY

and Trender is BURSTING WITH ENTHUSIASM to help, even though his lil twigboy legs aren't gonna let him pull a plow or haul anything

but as Mac's effortlessly pulling a plow he can look over and see a desperate flailing Trender trying. gasping and heaving and just SMILING AT BIG MAC and. continuing to try his damndest

and Big Mac doesn't know why but this little annoying dip is just so enthusiastic and SO eager despite his obvious limitations and his heart is clearly in the right place

and Mac can't help but think that's Cute
