After taking a few pulls from his blunt, Trent walks into the room before taking his seat across Lola then puts on the headphones as he approaches the microphone. As he awaits for the introduction song to finish, Trent blinks a few times as he looked up at the ‘’On Air’’ button turned red. He clears his throat while rubbing on his chin, licks his bottom lip then finally introduces himself. ‘’Wassup, late night listeners?’’ A smile appears across his face as he continues. ‘’Welcome to S.H.I.T’s radio show called High 777. I was going to call it the S.H.I.T radio show but that’s too proper for me.’’ A small snicker slipped from his lips as he approaches to the mic. ‘’But yo, this your boy Trent. If you don’t know about me, I’m that nigga that plays the guitar late at night around 4am. So yes, I’m the reason why half of y’all can’t sleep at night. My bad.’’ He cheeses a smile at Lola staring back at him as she shakes her head in disappointment.
‘’Anyways, I’m the one that’s going to talk about the music business, all things sports, and talk about any Campus news related with my home girl Lola for you guys. My taste in music is very diverse so expect the song choices on this show to be all over the place. It ain’t going to be the same ole shit you guys are used to hear on the other radio stations. Ain’t no ‘’Rolex’’ that’s going to be played five times in one hour type of shit. On some real shit, if you’re an upcoming artist and you want your music to be played on air, hit me up or just submit your music to our mailbox. We appreciate all kinds of music. Ursula Zephalopod, President of LGBT+ CLUB, alongside Vice President, Bee, sends a warm welcome to S.H.I.T to give a safe space within this club for those who are struggling to come to terms with their identity and also those who are within their own comfort! Allies are even more so welcome. This is a safe space for respect amongst all of us as community to discuss issues and to even find our own standing in who/how we can help!
