Well it’s Thursday which means it’s throwback time. Throughout the day, I’ll be posting the top ten throwback songs. If you have a throwback that you’ll like to be played, send in your request. If your song don’t make the list this Thursday, well you always have next Thursday.
“Gooooood evening S.H.I.T. students! How y’all doing today? I’m asking a question as if I can really hear your answers but I hope y’all are doing good. We’re back on the air on this fine day we call Woman Crush Wednesday, Way Back Wednesday, Won’t He Do it Wednesday…whatever you call it, happy hump day y'all.” He chuckled as he grabbed the microphone and turned his head to @vntci “To my right hand side, I have the beautiful Vitani Lyon. Truly stunning, wish y'all could see. Let me stop before she tries to dub me, we will be your hosts today. We have a few announcements coming, some music of course provided by my big-headed homie Sasha and more. Turn those speakers up and let’s rock.”

“Okay, we’re gonna make this quick because I have basketball practice in an hour.” Lola announced as she made her way towards the front of the room for the meeting she planned. “I called this meeting so that everyone is aware of the changes that’s going to be taking place and the new members, we’ve added to the team as well as the old ones. As everyone knows, or should, I’m Lola and I’m the president of the station. If you guys have any questions or comments, you can always come to me. I’m usually around unless I’m sleep.” She joked, her lips expanding into a playful smile. “Next, we have @cree-nosummer as our new VP, @vntci and @dcndiego as our permanent radio hosts and the position of Playlist Curator is currently pending. Right now, the schedule I have in mind is daily announcements on Mondays by either Cree or I, Girl Talk Tuesdays with Vitani, Wednesdays will be for interviews held by one of the four rotating hosts, live show on Thursdays with Diego and Vitani and live show Friday with either me and Cree or just one of us depending on our schedule and availability. Um, that’s really all I wanted to discuss. If you guys have any questions, comments or suggestions, you may speak up now or message me later. If you guys are okay with the schedule then we can start with Girl Talk Tuesdays today or an interview tomorrow with whoever would like to conduct one.”
“Good Afternoon SHIT University! It’s your girl Lola here and as usual, I’m here to give you the latest in campus news, traffic and weather as well as events happening on and off campus. The weather is actually 74 degrees outside. It’s gonna be rainy all day, well actually, it’s going to be rainy, cloudy and thunderstorms all this week except for Wednesday and Thursday. So if you’re like me, this is the perfect weather to study for any exams, do some research, finish some papers and maybe do a little Netflix and chilling. There’s currently a road closure on 26th Street in Miami Beach and a major accident on 95 South so be careful out there. Onto campus news, for anyone interested in pledging for a sorority or fraternity, recruiting is beginning this week. For anyone looking to join Zeta Rho Tau, our website will be posted tomorrow as well as information on the recruiting and pledging process. For those who contacted me on positions with the radio station, we’ll be having a meeting here at 3 PM tomorrow. Please make sure you’re there and if you can’t make it, be sure to let me know via text or DM. Remember, if you have any announcements you ever want me to make for a club, Greek, sports team, outreach group or event, please be sure to submit a message to either the radio station page or to me and I’ll be sure to announce it during our daily announcements. "Sorry I'm running a little late, had some business to take care of, but I'm going to make this short and sweet so everyone can tend to any business they have to as well." Lola started, placing her Chanel backpack on the wooden table in front of her. "So, this is the High 777 headquarters. That's Sway," She announced, pointing over to the man beside her. "He's the program director here and in the back of the room are the engineers and crew who volunteer with the studio equipment. As everyone knows, Trent was the president of the club but since he transferred, I've become the newest president of High 777 radio. I know I've repeated this a number of times but there are a few positions we are looking to get filled. First, we would like a junior Program Director to help out and work under Sway to eventually become the program director of the station. As program director, your job consists of creating new material for the show, oversee the staff and crew and mange the overall sound and image of the station. Next most wanted role is Vice President. I need someone who is willing to host some nights on the radio by themselves, conduct interviews, work with me on creating new material for the show and conducting meetings every now and then. Third, is a Playlist Curator. The only requirement for this job is to have excellent taste in music so be prepared for me to ask if you can make a playlist for me before receiving the job title. The job is pretty easy; you just have to work with me or the VP if it's their day to run the station on making playlists for the station's show that day. Fourth, we are looking for another Host to add to our roster. Right now, we currently have me as a host, Diego as our 'love doctor' with his segment and that's about it. So, if you think that's something you can handle and comfortable being on the radio, just talk to me about the position. Lastly is an engineer but that's not a priority being that we already have a few so. That wraps up the meeting on our part. Our live day for shows is usually Thursday unless I'm doing a special segment like I did yesterday with girl talk. Once we add two more people to our team as hosts, we'll discuss show days and times. Any questions?"
For anybody interested in being apart of the radio station, there will be a meeting today at the station at 3 PM. We’re currently looking for a junior program director, engineer, playlist curator, VP who can also serve as a radio host and another radio host. The roles that mainly need to be filled are bolded. Listening attentively to Vitani speak, Lola nodded her head to indicate her understanding as she related to her candid story. “Nah, I feel you completely. It’s the same way with my parents but a little different. My mom did her best to raise me but times were hard and instead of keeping me, she sent me to live with my dad who at the time I had no relationship with and packed up her shit to move to LA. She went from being my rock to being someone I only saw once a month. My dad didn’t learn to really love me as his kid until he loss his wife so for me, love is a complicated concept which is weird being that I am currently involved with someone right now and I like him a lot. But being young and being in a relationship, it takes a lot to stay committed because you’re still trying to define what love is to you. I don’t know..it’s all new to me again. I haven’t loved anyone or been anywhere close to it in a while.”
“We’re back. Again.” She announced, singing the words out before chuckling. “So we’ve discussed hating ass friends and women not supporting each other but when you have a down ass partner for you, why be worried about some bitch? However, we’re young adults and in college with responsibilities. Sometimes it’s not always so easy to be in a relationship or even be with someone who understands that. I hope I’m not getting too personal but are you in a relationship? And if not, what do you look for in a guy or woman?” @vntci
