p e a c e was an important concept to simon. in order for his life to have balance and order he had to be at peace with himself, his relationships and his priorities. by surprise he managed to keep a peaceful life in the middle of a buzzing city; that is until they came along. the moment they came in to simon’s life his world was flipped upside down. his usually peaceful evenings were filled with chaotic adventures, unsaid feelings and uncertainties about “are we or aren’t we?” between the two. watching the other from across the party, he watched them drape their bodies over another’s own as he did the same with someone else. it was almost like he was saying: YOU DID THIS. after the hellish argument they had about what they were doing it had pushed each other in the arms of a stranger. 

simon’s intense gaze only left the other’s to look at the girl in his arms. he felt empty. he had never acted like this until today. the fact that he was with someone who he had no attachment to almost brought tears to his eyes, but he stayed strong. he sucked back his tears and buried his feelings---- an act he had never done before---- and continued to put up a false facade. even when he brushed past the person he loved he barely acknowledged their presence, yet hoped they would acknowledge him; maybe even follow him.
