This is Trethevy Quoit, also known as the Giants House, considered to be the best preserved quoit in Cornwall and one of the most impressive of its type in Britain.
Whether you believe this or not, you cannot help but leave a place like this without some degree of self reflection and wonder about our fundamental nature, purpose, and essence of being. I also left with a greater respect and awe of the sheer physical and mental determination of our ancients in their endeavor to honor the ancestors.
