It was tradition for the important figures of Galátea to have a title. An old tradition, older than they could really say, and even though they knew a great many things, they didn’t know everything.
Unsurprisingly perhaps, it was an ill fitting tradition.
A Diplomat, a Spark, a Strategist, a Keeper, among others. Old names for old things that made no sense anymore.
But sometimes, to survive, you must give new meanings to old things, make them yours again, in a different way.
A Strategist might not lead galactic wars, but their analytical brain might be needed to plan their salvation.
A Diplomat might not mean much when there’s so little people to rule, but that might change one day.
A Spark however...they had found mentions of it, of its importance, though little explanation of what it meant. That’s why no one took that title, not even to make it anew.
Certain things are not meant to be disturbed while they slumber.
