"There's still a few hours left," Mason pointed out next.

"Then I guess I have no other choice but to give myself to you willingly."

"Really?" He brightened up, but the smile faded a few seconds later. "Is it because you think I can't get you myself?"

"Maybe. Or I just have pity on a poor vampire." He teased.

"Don't," Mason gave him a look. "I caught you all by myself."

"Of course you did."

"Now surrender so I can mark you mine," His look turned serious.

"Alright, I surrender to you." Trey leaned back slightly to expose his neck.

"Vampire lore says that once it's bit their victim, then it's automatically marked as theirs to keep or turn. Either way it's theirs by mark," Mason ignored his answer as he went into his explanation.

"So you had planned to bite me?"

"Well....yeah. That's how you get marked," He shifted awkwardly, but tried to sound firm.

"Charming, but no thank you." He went back to reading.
