Why was nobody suspicious earlier when we haven't heard from Olivia for weeks?

Why did nobody follow up on any of the other clues we found?

Why isn't old Bart already in jail for bribing Adelaide?

How tf did Bart manage to get Lucretia out of her cell and into a presumably "secure" official meeting at the gd Palace without the actual King knowing anything about it?

Shouldn't proof be required that Cedric is, in fact, heir to house Vescovi?

If he is, is there really no paperwork or procedures involved in restoring his house? Bart says the words and it's done?Legally a reality? Really?
