Into The Lion’s Den | Trial Start
After what seemed like an endless hour of scouring the manor and field, Kemuri was standing in the foyer waiting for everyone to gather there. He mentioned something about a Trial to decide who the guilty party was in killing Madame. To kill one of them seemed out of the realm of possibility, but someone took matters into their own hands, so to speak. When you arrived, he simply smiled and walked himself over to the Ballroom door, knocking thrice.
“This shall take us to the room I’ve crafted for you all to host this trial and the ones afterwards. You cannot enter it without my help.” He smiles, gesturing for everyone to enter.
Instead of a ballroom, you all entered what seemed like a field much like the one outside. Enclosed in a large dome were flowers and trees, growing and seemingly overtaking the glass to block out the harsh sunlight. Flowers familiar to you dot around you in a large circle.
“Please find your corresponding flower and stand in front of it so that we may begin.” Kemuri states, making his way to a large mushroom growing out of the ground and seating himself on it with added grace. A large gold-gilded throne is situated behind him.
You all make your way towards the flowers with uncertainty. Were they really going to be able to solve this..? And what would happen to the person responsible..?
Kemuri, with a wave of his hand, grins from ear to ear. “You may all start. You are to discuss the evidence you found and conclude as to who is behind my lady’s death. I have a special execution, should a majority vote occur. But do remember, whoever you vote for will die, even if you are not the guilty party. Those who cannot prove their innocence or lie through their teeth are not fit to continues this game. Begin..!”
