New Trial Professors & More

Trial Professors

As always, Sunday is the day we announce new professors and trial professors. We had a ton of applications to go through and discuss who we will be putting on trial for this week. After speaking to the rest of the Senior Staff, we have decided to put the following people on trial:

Sam242 - Duelling and Theory

Hanger - Defence Against the Dark Arts

MoronicSoup - Potions

Hawke - Duelling and Theory

Azurite - Transfigurations

Candiey - Duelling and Theory

Melancholic - Defence Against the Dark Arts

TheDuskguard - Duelling and Theory

Now, as you can tell by reading the list of trials, there are a lot of people on trial for Duelling and Theory and Defence Against the Dark Arts. Due to the limited amount of spots available for every subject, not everyone listed above will be hired for full time work. This means that if you are really dedicated to working here, show us and prove to us that you would be a good professor for the desired subject. 

Those of you mentioned above, you will be required to have a minimum of four classes between Sunday 5th January and Saturday 11th January. All of your classes will be monitored by one of the Senior Staff members. As you are on trial, you will not be invited to the tumblr group until you become a full time professor, even if you have worked here before. This means that in order to have your homework and grades posted, you will need to send them to us, which can be done so by clicking here. The title of your post should be similar to the rest found on tumblr. For example, "Field Flying - 07/01 - Homework [Nexum's Trial]". The post you submit to us should have the homework or grades, along with the register and House Points, depending on if it's a grades post or homework post; House Points should be added at the bottom of the grades post, not the homework post. Trial professors are also required to read the RPRulebook and all of the posts under Links4Profs.

Other Information

Upon request and reapplying, we have decided to allow ProfessorMoonglow to switch subjects from Transfiguartions back to Care of Magical Creatures.

We have also allowed Mephisto to switch from Astronomy to Duelling and Theory. 

Non-Teaching Positions

Due to Sydney being busy with other things, we have decided to take over the NTP's. As of today, anyone who wishes to have a non-teaching position in this roleplay, such as working as a counselor will be required to send their application to us by clicking here. NTP's will be announced once every week or two, depending on how many people actually apply for the positions. If you wish to see which positions are available, click here.

This is basically just a reminder post, you have the next 35ish hours to complete the rest of your 4 MONITORED classes if you haven't already. Some of you haven't had any classes at all.

According to the list above, made by myself after going through all of the posts since you were announced as Trial Professors, these are the numbers of classes each of you have grades posted for. If you're confused, look back to this post to help you out with how to have valid, monitored classes.

Hint: I ONLY count your grades posts. Homework means nothing if you don't post the grades for them.
