I drew HURT / COMFORT ANGST Zootopia 2 AU fan art, and I feel ALIVE

SPOILERS!!! So SKIP AHEAD if you don't wanna

I so love these characters, so if you want some emotional spoilers, just click below~

This is my simple AU for Zootopia 2, because I can clearly see a line of redemption for our dear sweet Pawbert. Throughout the movie, I imagine that Pawbert is having second thoughts and internal conflict about his plan: because he becomes close to Gary through their adventure together.

At the pivotal moment of the plot, Pawbert hesitates, and Gary is able to stop him... not with violence, but with a gentle tenderness that Pawbert had been craving his whole life.

In that moment, Pawbert had to choose between the "love" of his disapproving father... or the acceptance and warmth of his cold-blooded companion, dear Gary De'Snake.

I call it the Zootopia 2 Warm Blooded Heart AU
