I've been wanting to do a piece in honor of my friend Alex Kelham who passed away last October (2016) but work kept getting in the way. Today is his birthday (he would have been 30 today) so I put aside the time to do this piece. I am not very good at realism; I had to use references heavily and nearly trace some of the features to get them right, but I wanted to do him justice. I miss you friend. You truly were one of the most wonderful people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Happy Birthday Alex xx #missyou #tribite
