Do you think Toei's version of Spiderman from like the 70s will show up as well

i would love that, but i doubt the movie will be as crazy as the spider-verse arc in the comics.

it’s produced by lord and miller, though, and they made the lego movie, so who knows? they could go wild with it.

Kyle and Soranik had nothing the New 52, or at least nothing big. He was busy romping around space being in a relationship with Carol Ferris in New Guardians most of the time.

That is also a relationship I have Opinions on. 

First of all, it’s cheap and lazy to give Kyle Hal’s old love interest. Second, I don’t like the implication that Kyle is incapable of working with a woman without getting in a relationship with her. Thirdly Carol is worth more than to be a prop passed around between Green Lanterns. 

Fourth, comics need to let women freaking age. Carol Ferris should be at least 10 goddamn years older than Kyle! Why tf is she falling in love with this kid???

But yeah, thank you for the information. DC needs to leave Kyle and his love life alone unless it’s to give him a boyfriend, lbr.

I feel like a big problem when it comes to comics is the lack of division between good/iconic stories and controversial stories. Books like Dark Night Rises or Death in The Family or heck even Watchmen to a degree are more controversial stories over good ones. Kingdom Come is a good story (sure it had a few weird decisions/moments, but overall good) but it doesn't get as much attention as those books, despite how good it is. DKR gets talked about like it's a master piece when really it's just ok

Also a good point.

A lot of it is also that those books need ‘for the time’ has to be tacked on. Gritty realism in DKR? Revolutionary--for the time. Now Batman mythos is utterly steeped in it.

He originally had plans to go to college and study archaeology, but those got cancelled after the death of his parents. The Joestars more or less lived off their collective college savings for a while after their parents died, and there’s no way Jonathan could juggle college, work, and looking after all the kids now. But he still hopes to go eventually, so he’s still saving a little money when he can.

How do you get inspiration or ideas for characters, I'm working on a project where I'm creating 26 characters and I'm running out of ideas.

I have a few methods:

1. Look at your existing characters, and think of what kind of character could have a fun dynamic with them. For example, one of my characters began simply as someone who would be an awkward third wheel to two of my other characters who were a couple.

2. Try dividing up your characters. If you have a character or more who’re overdeveloped, or have backstories/personality traits that seem unnecessary or don’t fit in, try reducing them to their most basic characteristics, and giving the unnecessary parts to another character.

3. Cheat by taking somebody else’s characters and spinning off of their character to create your own. Take your headcanons and fanfic ideas for that character, and use them for a new character. Blur the similarities between your character and the character you started with until you have your own original character.
