88th Hunt: Crystal Clear

I always love the post-battle check-in chapters, just to see how everybody is doing and how they're reacting to the major event that occurred. Desscaras and Minakata custody battle is still going hard 😅 The beef is too funny. Plus they both look so hot in the white t-shirts??? Usazaki-sensei, PLEASE keep doing what you do.

We also got a little explanation on how Minakata's sacred pillar works, which I appreciate. I thought it emitted smoke, but it actually absorbs the smoke, which goes along with how other sacred treasures work.

Kumugi and Moneygold are both reflecting on their actions, but is there really much they could have done to prepare for this? I feel so bad seeing them so down on themselves, especially Moneygold. The idea to call Tricaputo was pretty risky though. I wonder where the other top witches are? There are at least two other top witches that we haven't seen. Maybe they're off on missions?

And this bomb at the end of the chapter!? Fujimine must be super old if Tricaputo looked like that when they signed the contract. That also means both Tricaputo and Fujimine would die if one of them were killed (I misremembered, sorry for the misinformation! The contract means Tricaputo must obey Fujimine, and if Tricaputo dies, Fujimine also dies). If the Majikeepers found out, they might just go ahead and kill Tricaputo just so Fujimine would die as a result. We didn't see any of the majikeepers other than Minakata this chapter, I hope we get to see how they're taking things next chapter, now I'm very curious...
