Pokemon Card of the Day #1971: Trick Coin (Phantom Forces)

Trick Coin was an attempt to tilt luck in the user’s favor. It was a Pokemon Tool that, when attached to a Pokemon, let you choose at any point during flipping coins for an attack to ignore flips already done and re-flip. You got one re-do total, but that could help quite a bit. The problem here, of course, was that it was only useful on Pokemon that relied a bit too much on luck in the first place, and that meant that anything using Trick Coin was just trying to get up to the level where other Pokemon were without it. It was an option for casual decks trying to make use of unreliable Pokemon but wasn’t ever seen in serious play.
