Here's a question for competitive water skiers, esp. in the Men's/Women's 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 age groups. How many of you did ramp tricks. Tricks on and off the jump were quite popular back in the day, that being the 50's and 60's into the '70's. This Dick Pope, Jr. doing a back approach, Ramp 360 back-to-back and an air 180. Trivia question, when was the last year that ramp tricks were allowed in AWSA tournaments? Came across this photo of Ken White in the 1965 AWSA Yearbook in an article speculating on who was going to make the U.S. team going to the 1965 World Championships in Surfers Paradise, Australia.
