By 1966 Cypress Gardens had hosted more than a dozen Collegiate tournaments but this was to be the first National Inter-Collegiate Water Ski Tournament. The teams were all from Florida but at least one notable Western skier, Larry Penacho, competed. Can you pick out World Champion Roland Hillier, or Master's Champion Joker Osborn? This Father/Son team of water skiers jumped from skiing to driving in the mid 1970s to the great benefit of the Cypress Gardens skiers.
