Payback's A Beach

The Tricksters were running for their lives, or at least it sure felt like it.  James sprinted through the air far ahead of his younger counterpart, whose shorter legs were struggling to keep up.

“Slow down, man!” Axel protested with all the cool-guy attitude he could muster, which wasn’t a whole lot at this particular moment.  He was spilling gag weapons from his bag as he ran, prompting some angry shouts from below when people found gimmicked slinkies and fake spiders raining down on their heads.

The other Rogues were yelling too, but Axel was really trying not to think about that.

“Kid, you’ve gotta work on your technique!” James shouted back as they ran.  A bolt of lightning suddenly arced past them with a sharp crackle, though all it did was singe both their hindquarters.

“Aaaa!” Axel yelped as he grabbed his rear and kept running.  He had so many regrets right now, and no idea who to blame for them.  “Whaddya mean?!”

James executed a graceful acrobat’s leap to dodge the boomerang which flew perilously close by his ear; he’d have to sneak an extra-loud whoopie cushion into Digger’s favourite chair for that one.  “Look at it from the guys’ point of view: one or two stink bombs might be hilarious.  But a whole boxful probably violates the Geneva Convention!”
