The Fenton's still believe that ghosts are evil. But this is their son we're talking about. So of course they still love him to the moon and back and obviously since he is still part human he is sapient and sentient.... Just evil as well. Gotta support your son's decisions!
I like the idea that they still fully love and support their son no matter what, they just cannot get the idea that "evil" isn't written into the very ecto that makes up a ghost, cuz like, their a bit lost but they have the right spirt, and will happily encourage any kind of world domination or villainy their son will do or want to do! He can't help it that ghosts are evil by nature, but he's still our boy! And while we could go with them going to Gotham, or Danny continuing to keep resisting because he's literally a hero, I say that's the base formula! We need something unique! I say we have Danny go with it! Have him be a Doofenshmirtz esc villain who keeps making plots that, tho his inventions always work, his plots aren't actually meant to harm people or anything, and because of this "mildly disruptive at best but still technically a threat" vibe I have determined that he would not hit with the threat level and morals of the Gotham scene, but would much better fit among the Flash Rouge Gallery, especially as he would lean more toward inventions with maybe the occasional power use, rather than the chemical biological and psychological war fair used by Gotham villains. As such, if Danny will be a doofenshmirts type villain among the Flash gallery, then we need to determine who would be his Perry the platypus, (minus the working through different childhood trauma every episode part) and I feel like I lost the original prompt a bit but it would have happened anyway, and the more I fit into this prompt the more it can branch off, so it's fine.
