Inferno

Inferno is Sapnap’s trident in my trident centric au. In this au, tridents manifest special abilities unique to their owners. For Sapnap, that means adapting to and becoming an extension of his pyrokinetic abilities as a blaze hybrid.

Tridents are rare and difficult to acquire, especially from a drowned. Having worked and fought long and hard to obtain his, Sapnap carries his trident with valor as an extension of himself and a testament to his journey of physical and mental strength.

Nova

With one of the strangest acquisition stories of all the tridents, it’s highly suspected throughout the server that Nova holds more power than everyone knows. Whether or not George can confirm this to be true is still unclear. For now, though he very rarely wields it, most tend to remain vigilant around George, as unassuming as he is. It really is odd; tridents are never just…found.

In this au, tridents are magic, and their magic changes to fit their owner

Owner of a trident: the living person who either obtained the trident from a drowned OR the living person who the trident was passed to from the previous owner; once a trident is passed, the living previous owner has no claim over it

Tridents are rare, and they are powerful. The only ways to own a trident: obtain one from a drowned, have one passed down to you from the previous owner, or take one from the deceased previous owner

Once the owner is deceased or their claim to the trident has been revoked (not passed), the magic of the trident becomes neutral again, until a new owner finds it. If ownership of a trident is passed, the trident only responds to that new owner, but the magic doesn’t manifest until the new owner touches it

The colors of a trident may also change depending on the owner

This au takes place post-finale. All the characters in this au have been reborn/reincarnated in a newer time. Traits are a mix of c! and cc!

Some people have tridents, some do not. Some people want tridents, some do not. Some people find their own tridents, and some, well…some do not

Ian stops breathing during gym class, and Ryder performs CPR because he’s the only one who paid attention for some reason, and Brink finds out and posts on his Instagram story, with Ian flipping off the camera and sticking his tongue out in the background “so who was gonna tell me my brother stopped breathing, was hospitalized... and was saved by Ryder Fucking Matteo????”

And then it starts a whole train of “so who was gonna tell me...?”

It ends with Ryder in his mini coma, and Ian posts “so who was gonna tell me Matteo was in a coma” while standing in his hospital room, flipping the camera off and sticking his tongue out. ryder is posed the same way, with Loni and Eau in the background doing the same thing
