I just binged tssw 3 (it was SO GOOD!! Once I can organize my thoughts better it's very possible I'll send in some asks specific to it but rn all I've got is GOOD JOB!!!!!) an now I'm starting over at tssw 1 with a new character cause I wanna romance Rai (and I have ideas for other characters I wanna play after that too-)

And anyway this is such a small detail but I'm just curious if there's a canon age for Jorgen, our brother from the Trident's Teeth background? If it was mentioned in game I missed it, an I couldn't find anything in older posts here

Manerkol is enemies to lovers, Sielthan is starting out as friends, Rai is friends with benefits, Dae is love at first sight, Morkai is the gruff archetype, Straasa is the gentleman/dreamy type, Eledwen is the stoic/silent type etc!

It's so much fuuuuuun!! 🤩 As for your question, it depends how old you're playing your MC.

If your MC is a young adult, then Jorgen is around 15-16.

If you're playing an MC in their early thirties, Jorgen is around 18-19.

No older than that in my mind.

I have a head canon for my Trident Teeth mc reason to learn magic is to perform illusions for his sick brother so he doesn't need to keep seeing the same room ❤ not really an ask I know but I wanted to share it, I love your books and characters and I will keep reading whatever you make

I haven't actually got a question more than a statement. Just wanted to write this to congratulate on your writing with the Trident Teeth origin, I had a sibling who committed suicide and the small moments about the mixture of guilt and sadness the MC feels really drove it home for me.

I'm not an emotional dude usually but it's like you wrote my personal feeling down on paper about mine and it really shows your amazing writing skills and I'm personally looking forward to your next book.

Thank you. That part of the first book still is one of my favorite things I've written. Favorite is not even the right word, but...it's more like I would not change a thing about it.

If jorgen is still alive (god that feels hurt for just saying it) what would he think of the ro's? (with that previous Jorgen and mc escape scenario)

Jorgen was a very quiet and introverted person, but he had a hidden gremlin streak as well.

He would feel very relaxed and safe with Straasa, slowly opening up until he felt like Straasa was an older brother that would always listen to him and protect him. He’d soon start joking with him and tell him about his life in Trident’s Teeth and would treat him as his confidant.

With Morkai, he’d at first be wary and scared of his loud ways, but would soon notice the little acts of kindness that Morkai does and tries to keep hidden, and would warm up to him and follow him around, looking up to him.

He would be very flustered with Dae and would have a highkey, very poorly-hidden crush on her. His eyes would go heart-shaped every time she opens her mouth and he’d be like a puppy that was given a treat every time she pays attention to him.

With Eledwen, he’d be sort of intimidated at first. Her powerful aura and quiet ways would have him off-balance, and he wouldn’t know how to react around her. Does she like him? Does she hate him? But soon he’d realize how sweet and dependable she is, and he’d trust her with his life.

Hello! I really liked the story! But as someone who unfortunately has 0 reading comprehension skills, what exactly happened in the tridents teeth origin? I only got that the brother died but do the towns people really think his only sibling did it?

No, no, the brother is indeed dead, but so is Bain. Bain is not featured so much in this background, but trust me, he plays a role. But as in every background, he is dead now and HIS death is always blamed on the MC.

So no one blames the MC for the brother’s death. Hope this helps!
