There is something so shameful about having very specific and mundane triggers for traumatic memories.

How do I explain to someone why I can't play video games with others online bc wearing headphones and being scared of them hearing me breathe is very triggering for me? Or that I can't play boardgames or cardgames with anyone without starting to cry and shake uncontrollably?

Normal people don't do that.

How will anyone understand and take me seriously when some of my triggers are so silly?
