Someone’s getting a proceduuuure
They cancelled my fucking trigger point injections again
And im gonna fucking freak out bc i am in so much pain now and have such a bad headache from my neck i cant even think straight
Excited to get stabbed (medical) tomorrow
Trigger point injection doctor told me that I'm not a candidate for TPI at this time (which I expected, just figured I'd go along with my specialist's referral). Most of my pain is either not bothersome or not myofascial. The only clear myofascial pain I have is in my pelvic muscles from damage from my surgery from hell and I'm not keen on a 6 inch needle up the ass and certainly not by an anaesthesiologist by training. I don't need any more damage in there.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) by Midlothian Medical & Sports Center, Midlothian, TX
What is PRP?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a non-surgical treatment option that uses the patient’s own blood to promote healing and regeneration of damaged tissues. PRP contains a concentrated amount of platelets, growth factors, and other beneficial proteins that can help accelerate the healing process and reduce inflammation.
Benefits of PRP
PRP offers a number of benefits over traditional treatment options, including faster healing times, reduced inflammation, improved tissue regeneration, and more. Because PRP uses the patient’s own blood, there is no risk of rejection or adverse reactions, making it a safe and effective treatment option for many patients.

Deep Tissue Laser Treatment by Midlothian Medical & Sports Center, Midlothian, TX
A deep tissue laser is designed to address such a condition by penetrating deep into the affected tissue to reduce inflammation at the cellular level.
What is Deep Tissue Laser Therapy?
Deep Tissue Laser Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses a low-level laser to penetrate deep into the tissues and promote healing. It is a safe and effective alternative to traditional therapies, providing fast and lasting relief from pain and inflammation. During a Deep Tissue Laser Therapy session, the laser is applied to the affected area, where it penetrates deep into the tissues. The laser energy is absorbed by the cells, which stimulates the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the energy source for all cellular functions. This increase in ATP production enhances cell metabolism, promotes tissue repair, and reduces inflammation.+
What are the benefits of Deep Tissue Laser Therapy?
Deep tissue laser therapy is a type of treatment that uses concentrated light to stimulate healing and reduce pain in the body's tissues. Here are some of the potential benefits of deep tissue laser therapy:
Pain reduction: Deep tissue laser therapy has been shown to reduce pain and inflammation in many conditions, including arthritis, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
Improved healing: The concentrated light used in deep tissue laser therapy stimulates the production of collagen and other healing factors, which can speed up the healing process for injuries and wounds.
Reduced muscle spasms: The therapy can help relax tight muscles and reduce muscle spasms, which can be especially beneficial for people with conditions like fibromyalgia.
Increased circulation: The therapy can improve blood flow and circulation, which can help deliver nutrients and oxygen to injured tissues and promote healing.
Non-invasive: Unlike many other types of treatments, deep tissue laser therapy is non-invasive and does not require surgery or other invasive procedures.
What Does Deep Tissue Laser Therapy Treat?
Because deep tissue laser therapy reduces inflammation, and because virtually any part of the human body can become inflamed due to injury or illness, deep tissue laser therapy can be utilized in almost countless treatment applications. Patients frequently use deep tissue laser therapy to treat pain and inflammation associated with:
Sciatica
Neck pain
Joint sprains
Sports injuries
Lower back pain
Soft tissue injuries
Shoulder & knee pain
Hand & wrist injuries
Foot & ankle conditions
Post-surgical rehabilitation
Shoulder & knee discomfort
Torn ligaments, tendons, and joints
Tendonitis & tendonosis conditions
