Kill la Kill

I used to absolutely love Kill la Kill.... 

The art style. The expressive humour. Just about every character and their arcs. The ridiculousness of the premise.

Mako and her whole family, start to finish, are comedy gold.

But going into season 2, seriously was there any need for ‘that scene’?

(Anyone who has watched it knows what I’m on about.)  

Was that arc for Satsuki  absolutely necessary? 

Was there no other direction they could have possibly gone in?

It is so fricking vile and twisted!

Why?????
