Hilarious crack but dark canon divergence idea: Charles decapitates himself on purpose with the iron choker and carries it around in one hand while they defeat Esther, then plops it back on like nothing happened.

Bonus: now he can take it off whenever he wants. Charles thinks it’s funny. Edwin absolutely loathes it.

VERY IMPORTANT ZORA THEORY

TW: decapitation

I never post anything, but this is a very important discovery about the zora people and why they have heads that look like fish. 

There is this slug that can disconnect its head (scientists are not sure why, probably for funsies). Figure 1 shows a picture of the slug doing just this. The slug is fine.

I have reason to believe that zoras do the same thing, as pictured in Figure 2, when they wish to escape the rigid confines of civilized society and live as a fish.
