TRYING TO FIGURE OUT what this woman was aggravated him to no end, and so he found himself asking the question that had been right at the tip of his tongue. ❝What are you exactly? I have gone through a list of things, yet none of them seem to fit the aura you contain.❞ Surely she was not a deity, was she? He would have sensed that much had that been the case. However, what could this woman be, then? Perhaps his question might have been perceived as rude considering he just bluntly asked this without an the slightest attempt at being a bit more...polite (was there even a polite way to go about this?)

A trickster. A complicated young woman. But an anomalous one, indeed. She had once held a title of great prowess at this, once wishing to join my congregation to focus on her mind - to center herself in ways that no one else could offer her. My training at Mt. Pyre had indeed offered such a course, and it seemed as though, in the past, although there were many missteps and faults, it had done the woman well.
And yet, here stood Lenore.
With her by her side.
"Father Winter... this woman says that she... remembers you." Lenore said, wringing her hands together nervously as she looks at me, expecting me to prove her wrong.
I give both of them a smile, and stand up from the altar, brushing the wrinkles away from my robe.
"Indeed I do. I remember the faces of all my students - Nix, I believe? It certainly has been a long time. How go your studies? Well, I hope?"
@triickytales liked for a journey to the west!
A palm of swift power drove itself into the human's chest, knocking her arm from his grasp. Such a strike held the force of a full punch behind it, cascading through her a burning bomb of chest pain. As the owner of such a palm reeled his body back, his eyes remained ablaze with passion. She wasn't so much beneath him that she was an ant thrusting at the sun, but she lacked the tenacity she had. She lacked the speed he had. And she lacked the experience and focus he had to cling to victory with hardened fingers.
"That REALLY all you got!?" He shook his head, offering to the ground a wad of spit as disrespect. With his foot quickly curbing the saliva into the confines of the soul and then back, Wukong smirked. "Come on! I'm LITERALLY dancing circles around you! Where'd you even learn to fight!? Do they even know what a roundhouse kick is where you're from!?"
