Jiro steps out of the now empty warehouse, bruised and bloody but still alive. The goons of Hollow Port were tough but nothing he couldn’t handle. If this didn’t get the local mob boss’s attention he wasn’t sure what would. 

“Why do they always want to do it the hard way?” The punk asks to no one in particular.

He rocks on his heels for a second before finally addressing the other half of that, a small pop from his mouth before he speaks again.

“Father issues and a hatred for all things rabbit. Anyways we should probably go before the store wonders where the Easter display they forgot to put away went-”

Mike softly smiles as he lightly pokes himself in the chest, and then he moves to gently poke Sky’s chest as he says.

“Juuuusst like my heart is right in there.”

Was that a bit corny? Maybe. But Mike tends to speak without thinking and he thought it might cheer Sky up a little, and it’s not like he’s wrong.

Tom lets out a loud surprised squeak as he his absolutely smothered in kisses. He hadn't expected that, but he's not going to complain about the sudden kiss attack. He does gently cup Sky's face though to ask.

"Stay at home and snuggle kind of day?"

Yes he knows that’s not a good reply but he deals with all the shit in his life with humor.

A nervous ring of his hands and a faint chuckle as he looks out the window. Normally he didn’t like worrying others with his woes, but maybe a trauma for a trauma might be good for them both here?

“I mean just last week I saw my father in the bathroom mirror, twisted grin and bloodied face.”

Seeing his father in mirrors wasn’t the worst hallucination Mike ever had, but he’d be lying if he never said it didn’t make him want to gouge his own eyes out.

Mike’s going over the map they made for the millionth time. His roach of a father is out there, somewhere, and Mike could never get a good night sleep knowing that.
